Hi there!

I'm a São Paulo-based designer currently working as freelancer and running my own headwear brand called Matilda.

​

I graduated as a graphic designer at UNESP in Brazil (5 years) and received a masters in fashion design at Politecnico di Milano in Italy (2.5 years total). I've lived and worked in Italy and France for almost 4 years and fluently speak Portuguese, English, Italian and French.

In the last 10 years I worked as a product manager for the French sports company Decathlon in Brazil, mainly in the swimwear department where I oversaw and actively participated in the creation and launch of new fashion items as well communication and sales strategies for Brazilian market.

I see fashion as an empowering communication tool. I believe that design can make an important social impact in matters such as sustainability and inclusivity.

Though I am a designer my other passion is dance! I've been performing and teaching dance for my entire life.
